“Personally, I think it’s really cool to have a creator-based website actually putting creators first.”
Felix Kjellberg
First announced in on April 9, 2019, Felix Kjellberg has partnered up with DLive.tv as his exclusive live stream service. Felix discusses this new partnership in a sponsored video titled Here’s the mf tea:
For those of you that don’t know what DLive is, it’s a live streaming platform. Live streaming is coming up in the future.”
Felix Kjellberg
As he discussed in the first minutes of the video, DLive is built on a “blockchain” network.
A blockchain is an incorruptible digital ledger of economic transactions that can be programmed to record not just financial transactions but virtually everything of value.
Don and Alex Tapscott, authors of Blockchain Revolution (2016)
The blockchain network has no central authority — it is the very definition of a democratized system. Since it is a shared and immutable ledger, the information in it is open for anyone and everyone to see. Hence, anything that is built on the blockchain is by its very nature transparent and everyone involved is accountable for their actions.

How does this fit in with DLive.tv and their new streaming platform?
According to PewDiePie, DLive provides “a disruptive solution for the industry.” DLive’s mission is to empower creators through their “revolutionary” reward system:
- They take no platform cuts. If you donate or subscribe to a streamer, other websites will take a percentage of that. On DLive, it all goes to the creator.
- Viewers can earn LINO points simply by engaging with the network.
- Users themselves get to influence the shape of the platform, guide where it is going, and get rewarded for it (by getting LINO points).

I am really excited about DLive and excited to be live streaming again.
Felix Kjellberg
PewDiePie’s first live stream will be on April 14, 2019 at 10am PST/GMT.

Taking a page out of MrBeast’s book, Felix will donate up to $50,000 to streamers on DLive.tv. The money for the donations are generated from new users following other streamers, no necessary payments.
I am not supposed to give my own personal opinion, BUT I think this is a great initiative. YouTube has been putting business first for the last few months. Independent creators deserve a platform to perform their work without interference and be fairly rewarded in return.

nice
Michelle Obama is one of the most trusted Pew News hosts ever.
Very good, thanks Kanye
Pewdiepie is so generous. It’s great to see someone so kind and generous for no other reason than to just be kind. A lot of people could certainly learn a few things from him.
